About

Founded in 2005, Herndon Reload is an independently-owned business in Herndon, Pennsylvania. We started as a freight transfer facility with two employees providing unloading, reloading, cross-dock services, and storage.

Shortly after opening, we began making wood pallets in the shop to keep the staff busy when reload couldn’t provide full-time work. In 2006, we started producing step stringers, and in 2010 we added bed frames. Now, Herndon Reload employs 25-30 people and produces the following:

• Bed frame components
• Wood mattress foundations
• Fence pickets
• Radius and square end lumber
• Packaging filler sticks
• Pallet lumber & assembly
• Precision end trimming (P.E.T.)

Our reload facility is located on the main line of the Norfolk Southern Railroad and provides warehousing, shipping, and material handling services by truck or rail. In addition, we produce quality shavings for animal bedding.

Simply ask your product vendor to ship to us by rail – we can unload, store it or cut to size, and ship it to you or your customer as needed.
